Chelsea, London Wedding Photographer – Best of Wedding Photography in 2017

Here’s my end of year ’round up’ blog post, ‘London Wedding Photographer – Best of 2017’. This here is the best of my wedding photography (plus a bit of travel photography snuck in!) from the past 12 months. I’ve shot weddings super close to home in Chelsea (where I live), all over London, in Spain and much further afield this year and have loved my job more than ever!

New Wedding Venues

New venues I’ve photographed at include: the environmentally friendly and simply stunning Pines Calyx near Dover in Kent, the Bluebird bar and restaurant in Chelsea, the Phene, also in Chelsea, Marleybrook House in Canterbury and Sullington Manor Barn in Sussex. Oh and also Lassco at Brunswick House – a super cool venue in Vauxhall that’s sort of antiques and curiosities shop crossed with a bar and restaurant. I was also over the moon to be back shooting at Secret Garden, Kent, one of my favourite venues.

Destination Weddings in Spain and New York City

I of course ventured a bit further afield too! Special mention must go to my lovely friend Ayesha and her new hubby Phil who got married in New York City and invited me along for the ride, as bridesmaid and photographer. That’ll be a big tick against my Wedding Photography Goals wish list then. We had the BEST time! I was also lucky enough to travel over to Spain quite a bit for various couple shoots and some truly gorgeous weddings, including a couple back at one of my favourite hotels – the fabulous Gran Hotel Sol y Mar in Calpe on the Costa Blanca, Spain.

I always seem to have such lovely clients and this year was no exception. In particular they proved to have one crucial thing in common – they love to throw a bloody good party. My photography is documentary style, creative and above all fun and relaxed. Well suited to a non-stuffy, informal wedding bash at which having the Best Time Ever time with your nearest and dearest is top of the agenda. You won’t find any set-up shots, cheesy smiles or peeking out from behind trees here.. 😉
